“Airing Out”

I lose pieces of myself,

As I travel up into the atmosphere.

Seeing all around me,

Without looking.

Dots, fragments, a pixelated potion;

Dispersing.

And it feels,

Freeing.

No longer bound to fear,

But embracing the cessation of all perception.

Allowing for a communion with the stars.

Traveling billions of light miles,

To the expanse.

Liberation.

No longer bound by time, or light.

I am the energy.

Never eaten,

nor destroyed,

But transferred.
