“Transformation: Chaos Brings Order”

Life in upheaval.

A transformative moment.

Chaos brings order.

A very special thanks to Jennifer S, pithy punch packed compactly within a nutshell, I call my mind.  Thanks for the bump. Life is fluid, becoming fluid to ride it out, helps greatly.

40/40: Summer Poem Slam-a-bam is a project in which people have joined me for 40 days and 40 nights of on-demand poetry. They have submitted the concepts, ideas, and subjects; I’ve done the work.

“Interference”

Butterflies and finger-paints.

Snacks and toys and paper planes.

Hide n’seek, imaginary friends,

Where’s the line when childhood ends?

Stepped on toes,

Raw runny nose.

Stomped storm puddles,

happy hug huddles.

Who am I to interfere?

With the joy of children here.

Chaos reigns and order wanes,

able adventurous sponge-like brains.

The mystery of life is known,

until adults get you alone.

As time goes by the magic leaves,

leave those kids alone, please.

Leave those kids alone!

Please!
