“Banker’s Hours”

“Black Mass” ©️C.P. Hickey 2019

There was a fine time when I knew what to write.

Then it passed.

There was time in between,

When I didn’t know a thing.

Most especially,

What to write?

It sort of ebbs and flows like that.

Sometimes you gotta bank the pain of living,

And recount it later.

It’s just how it works.

  1. And sometimes life is busy and when you have a free few minutes you do the writer thing….meaning you absorb your surroundings and reflect on the importance of a penny on the ground. But where is the time to share any of it? {Poof}
