“Lime Bike”

“Lime Bike” ©️ C.P. Hickey 2018

“Lime Bike”

Here today,

Gone tomorrow.

Lime bikes strewn across the community lawn.

A populous Metropolis conveyance,

At the ready.

Pedals pumping against the tarred grades.

What is this? A lock?

A smartphone unlocks the potential.

Then ride out the time.

No need to return,

Just abandon it where you stop.

The Lime Bike Collective: a ungoogled map of human comings and goings.

Soon put away to Winter,

And returning with the budding Spring.
