“Ode, Essa”
Positively perfection,
this Poetess.
Putting rhyme and meter,
into the arteries of life.
Below the masses,
sifting for pearls.
Sunken Galleons promise treasures ripe for the picking.
Words rolling down her neck,
a flick of the wrist,
magic.
Quiet, demure light in the darkness.
Gaining brightness and girth.
Shadows retreat to the wells,
and reveal a brave new world.
